OUR HISTORY

Built to keep operations running.

Fox Fuel was founded in 1981 by Malcolm Fox in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. It started with one truck and one service area, a commitment to showing up when suppliers with bigger fleets would not.

Commercial accounts followed naturally. Contractors, fleet operators, and facilities managers who used Fox Fuel for heating oil started asking about diesel and bulk programs. We built the infrastructure to serve them properly.

Today Fox Fuel operates a commercial B2B fuel distribution program serving fleets, construction companies, healthcare facilities, data centers, and municipalities across the Greater Philadelphia region. The operation runs on a single premise: reliable delivery, honest pricing, and a live person when something goes wrong.

Founded

Malcolm Fox starts Fox Fuel in Willow Grove, PA. One truck. Commercial fuel distribution. Built on showing up when other suppliers would not.

1990s

Commercial Expansion

Commercial accounts added as local businesses and contractors begin calling. Bulk delivery infrastructure takes shape.

2000s

Fleet Programs

On-site diesel storage programs introduced for fleet operations and construction sites. The FuelCube program formalizes.

2010s

Infrastructure Growth

Generator fueling, fuel monitoring telemetry, and emergency dispatch capabilities added. Service area expands across greater Philadelphia.

Current Operations

Eight structured commercial programs. Two delivery channels. 15 vehicles. Serving fleets, construction, healthcare, data centers, municipalities, and commercial facilities across southeastern Pennsylvania.

24/7 emergency dispatch is not a marketing line. We have dispatched drivers at 2am during ice storms because a generator protecting a data center was going to run dry. That is what this company was built to do.

We tell you what we can actually do.

We will not take an account we cannot service correctly. If your site is outside our area, we say so. If your volume does not fit our minimums, we say so. No bait-and-switch on response times or pricing.

We stay out of your way.

Fuel should not be something your operations manager thinks about. Threshold dispatch, telemetry monitoring, and automatic reorder exist so you do not have to babysit your tank levels.

Emergency delivery coverage extends across our full service area 24/7. Scheduled delivery routes operate Monday through Friday with emergency weekend dispatch available to account holders.
